This research aims to analyse, evaluate and rank the maintenance strategy practised by train operating companies, specifically rolling stock team. A quantitative method was adopted for data collection. total of five companies were chosen participate in a survey that has been carefully designed. The first identified associated with through systematic literature reviews. Afterwards, six strategies identified. type used structure questionnaire. Judgemental sampling utilised purposes. Finally, collected from analysed using an importance index complete ranking analysis. discovered corrective preventive are most commonly among Malaysian companies. study also highlighted factors future studies should consider establish predictive cost models maintenance.
